Anchored by art-school energy, Hongdae is Seoul at its youngest — buskers and indie clubs, vintage shops and tiny cafés spilling toward leafy Yeonnam-dong and the riverside parks of Mapo. It peaks after dark, but the brunch-and-coffee crawl is reason enough to come by day.
