The Oil Tank Culture Park occupies a former petroleum reserve of six storage tanks (T1–T6) built in 1976–1978 and shut down in 2000 on safety grounds. Reopened as a public culture park in September 2017, five original tanks were adapted into a glass pavilion, performance halls and exhibition galleries, while a sixth was newly built from their dismantled steel to house a community centre and café. The former tanker parking lot is now an open 'Culture Yard' plaza for markets and events.
