Hongdae Street

Born from the art school at its heart, Hongdae is Seoul's youth playground — pedestrian streets thick with buskers, indie boutiques, themed cafés, live clubs and late-night eats. Weekend evenings turn the 'walking street' into an open-air stage of dance crews and singers. It's free, loud and best after sunset.
