Once buried under an elevated motorway, this 11-kilometre stream was reopened in 2005 as a sunken riverside walk that threads the city centre — stepping stones, waterfalls and lantern festivals just below street level. It's a favourite escape from the downtown bustle and glows with light installations at night.
