Gangseo Myeonok

One of Seoul's defining Pyongyang mul-naengmyeon houses, founded by a family from Kangso in South Pyongan in 1948 and now in Apgujeong. The draw is honest, unfussy buckwheat noodles in a clean, faintly austere beef-and-radish broth — a benchmark for the subtle 'seoseolhan' style — backed by North Korean dumplings and grilled beef.
