Namdaemun Yachae Hotteok

One of Namdaemun Market's most famous griddle stalls, best known for a savoury 'yachae' hotteok stuffed with japchae glass noodles and vegetables rather than only sugar — crisp outside, chewy within. It also fries the sweet honey-and-seed and red-bean versions. Lines of 15–30 minutes are normal; have your cash ready and eat it scalding.
